Racquetball 2007

  • The new line of E-Force demo racquetball racquets is here! This year we are carrying fifteen different types and models of racquets—racquets for every skill level. Try before you decide to buy. As always, AR&FC is competitively priced. Any questions regarding the new technology can be directed to Club instructor and E-Force rep, Derek D’Amour.
  • Jason Mirise will once again host an Adult Beginner’s Clinic on Wednesday evenings, October 3rd and 17th, beginning at 6:00 PM. Positioning, shot selection, serves, and safety on the court will be the focus. Sign-ups at the Front Desk are requested. This is a fitRewards point activity!
  • Every Monday through Thursday, from 4:00 to 5:30 PM, AR&FC Junior Racquetball offers fun, exercise, sportsmanship, and learning. If your kids, typically age seven through seventeen, are looking for an exciting, fast-paced sport, this could be the opportunity! The only prerequisite is an orientation (see below).
  • California Family Fitness of Rocklin will challenge our adult racquetball players at our Club on Tuesday evening, October 11th, beginning at 5:30 PM. All players encouraged to participate. Pizza will follow.
  • Private and group lesson pricing packages are available to help you improve your game level. Please contact our Racquetball Director for more information and details.
  • A Kids Racquetball Orientation will begin at 1:00 PM, on Saturday, October 13th. Basic rules, serves, sportsmanship, and safety will be emphasized with equipment provided upon request. Once again, sign-ups are requested. This is a fitRewards points activity!
  • A fall barbecue will follow our racquetball play on Tuesday, October 23rd. Richard Martin will coordinate this event. Cost will be $7.00!
  • A Halloween Racquetball Party comes to AR&FC on Beginner’s Night, Monday, October 29th, with prizes—a dinner for two and a $50.00 gift certificate from Salon Bella Vago—for the best dressed adults. Let’s get creative!
  • A Junior Challenge will be held at Courthouse Athletic Club on Wednesday, October 31st, beginning at 4:00 PM. Food, beverages, and prizes will be awarded to costumed players. All parents are encouraged to support our kids!
     
  • Teen Racquetball is held on the second and fourth Fridays of each month, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. Racquetball, indoor court soccer, games, music, and food are the agenda. Cost is only $3.00 for members.
     
  • Racquetball magazines, informational handouts, and videos are available for players in the Club Lounge.
