Junior Tennis

Spring to Summer is a busy time for tennis and kids at ARFC. Whether you choose after school group tennis classes, or an after school team-style program, we've got something for everyone. Spring - Summer Junior Tennis Registrations are being accepted now.

Select Juniors Program

Mondays/Wednesdays/Thursdays 4:30-6:30pm

A tennis program for 9-15 year olds who already have intermediate to advanced skills.They will be able to rally from the baseline, serve consistently, and play points/matches.

The goals of the program are to provide instruction/strategy, refine stroke production, develop a player's weapons, and ready them for Club exchanges and tournament play.


 

FITT Junior Tennis Program

Foothill Institute of Tennis Training for juniors is a year round tennis program. We offer Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall after school programs regardless of age and ability. Along with group lessons we offer private lessons so kids can get one on one attention. During the summer there are 4-day camps along with USTA Jr. Team Tennis. Little Hitters (ages 4-7) – Kids are in an atmosphere where they gain a positive experience and have fun with tennis. This class will emphasize motor skills and hand –eye coordination using tennis.

Novice – Intermediate Juniors (ages 7-15) - Players learn how to advance their game with fun. They will learn scoring, proper court etiquette, correct strokes and technique, point playing and simple doubles and singles strategy. 

High School Development (ages 12 –18) – Juniors will learn advance strategy, mental toughness skills, footwork and strength training skills to enhance their abilities and get a competitive edge over their opponents.
