Jacqueline
Stafford - Group Fitness Director
Jacqueline is a multi-faceted member of the
department bringing over 9 years experience as a group fitness
instructor. Currently she teaches water aerobics, Pilates, Pump-it-up,
group cycle and Tae Box. She is also an AFFA certified Personal Trainer.
She holds certifications from ACE, AFFA, ESA (Exercise Science Alliance)
and NASM (National Association of Sports Medicine).
In her free time Jacqueline enjoys downhill skiing, water skiing and
tennis.
She and her family currently hold Black belts in Taekwondo. They are working towards their black belt.
“I enjoy seeing participants reap the benefits of exercise. When they
finish their workout they seem more relaxed, less stressed, happy and
ready to tackle the day. I believe that health and fitness should be a
“way of life”. Everyone should have the opportunity to maintain a high
quality of living and I know that eating well, doing cardiovascular
exercise and strength training can help to achieve this well into senior
years.” |
Eileen Wheeler
Eileen recently
relocated to Grass Valley from the D.C. area where she has been studying
Tien Shan Pai Style Kung-Fu, Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan, and Taoist
Meditation for over nineteen years. She is a National and International
Champion, as well as a tournament and demonstration coach, and National
and International judge and referee.
Eileen
graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Colorado at
Boulder. Eileen enjoys backpacking, hiking, skiing, kayaking and
traveling. |
Judy
Benney
Judy has been employed for almost two years at
AR&FC as a yoga instructor. She has over seven years experience in the
practice of Ashtanga, Iyengar, and Yin Yoga.
Judy is certified through
the Mt. Madonna Center Ashtanga Yoga Institute after completion of over
two hundred hours of yoga training. |
Donna
Mattson
Donna has been teaching dance aerobics at AR&FC
for over three years. She is certified through Aerobic Pipeline
International.
Donna is a sports enthusiast, and has been a
competitive soccer player for most of her life. When not teaching class,
Donna works as a pharmacy technician at Longs Drugs.

Leslie
McGuire
Leslie has been a group fitness instructor for
fourteen years. Her area of expertise is in water aerobics, and recently
has trained to instruct mat pilates.
Leslie holds certifications from AFAA, AEA and
recently obtained Mat Science from AFAA. Leslie is a certified massage
therapist and aesthetician. She enjoys hiking, cycling, and skiing.

Bonnie
Zanin
Bonnie brings over fifteen years of experience
to AR&FC. During her eleven years at the club, Bonnie brings high energy
and enthusiasm to her classes.
Currently, she is teaching step, kickboxing,
group cycle, and abs & backs. Certifications are held with ACE and World
Aerobic Kickboxing Association International. In her spare time, Bonnie
enjoys cycling as well as running.

Wendy
Knapp
Wendy has been teaching water aerobics at AR&FC
for nearly three years. She holds certifications from AEA and Aerobics
Pipeline International.
Currently, Wendy is obtaining an additional
certification on aquatic fitness through Exercise Science Alliance.
Wendy has been an elementary teacher for over twenty years with the
Placer Hills Union School District. |
Suzanne Grace Rolle
Suzanne
Grace Rolle is a Pilates trainer, Yoga instructor and former
professional dancer who brings an impressive background of over 20+
years experience in the Performing Arts to her classes at AR&FC. She is
Pilates certified through Physical Mind Institute in San Francisco and
did her Yoga teacher training at Yoga Works in Los Angeles. She is also
a Certified Massage therapist and has extensive studies in Somatics,
Acupressure and Movement therapy. Suzanne moved to the Auburn area in
2004 from the SF Bay area, where she taught at numerous clubs and
studios. She is an avid hiker and enjoys cross country skiing and ocean
kayaking. |
Trish
Schreiber
Trish has worked in the group fitness department
at AR&FC for ten years. She holds certifications from ACE and AEA.
Trish currently teaches water aerobics, but is
cross-trained to dance, step and body sculpt. “I love being a group
fitness instructor. Whether on land or in the water...I love moving to
music.”
